Unique Ways To Use Coffee-Infused Maple Syrup

Coffee-infused maple syrup is certainly a fun product to have on hand. It's delicious drizzled over pancakes or waffles, just as you would enjoy ordinary maple syrup. However, you can also get a little creative with this syrup. Here are some unique ways to consider using it.
Toss Your Popcorn In It
Maple syrup is a delicious topping for popcorn, and coffee-infused maple syrup makes things even more interesting. Simply pop some popcorn using your preferred method. (Air popping works well if you want to minimize your fat intake.) Then, with the popcorn in a large bowl, drizzle some coffee-infused maple syrup over it. Toss the popcorn around in the bowl as you do this in order to distribute the syrup. Use about a tablespoon of maple syrup per cup of popcorn, or a bit more if you like things really sweet.
If you really want to take this snack to the next level, sprinkle some salt on the popcorn too. The combination of salt, maple syrup, and coffee flavors will really light up your tongue.
Dip Cookies In It
Coffee-infused maple syrup makes a delicious dip for cookies. If you're lactose intolerant and can't dip your cookies in milk, this is a great alternative. Fill a little cup with the syrup, and dunk your cookies in. This works well for sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies, and even some chocolate cookies. You could take this a step further and make a tasty sundae using cookie chunks, ice cream, and a drizzle of the coffee-infused maple syrup.
Make Poke Cake
Poke cakes were really popular a few decades ago, and they are making a bit of a comeback. You don't need to be able to bake a cake from scratch to make one. Simply bake a boxed cake according to instructions. It works best if you do it in a 9x13 pan. Let the cake cool completely. (This will take at least 1 hour). Then, use a skewer or chopstick to poke lots of holes in the cake. Drizzle about 1/2 cup of coffee-infused maple syrup over the poked cake, and let it settle into the holes. Then, spread icing over your cake and enjoy.
